Donating your car to charity is a worthwhile alternative to selling your older vehicle to a private seller or trading it in at a car dealership. Rolls-Royce thinks its new Phantom Drophead Coupé could be the most expensive new car ever sold in the US, after one was bought for million (£1.01million) at a charity auction in Florida.
The bid was the highest price paid in the Naples Winter Wine Festival's seven-year history. The auction is attended by top vintners and chefs, plus TV and film stars.
